More on BIBLICAL EVANGELISM/TEACHING…..

Posted by Gabriel (G²) on January 14, 2008

This video is an open rebuke on the “seeker-sensitive”, Purpose Driven movement. It shows why not declaring the truth and standing up for it is not only dishonoring to God, but cowardly as well.

Going along with that,

The above one deals specifically on the issue of what TRUE EVANGELISM should look like……

Also, for those wondering “Why does it really matter what one’s doctrine is and what they believe? Is it not all about loving one another?”

Regarding the above one here, In the words of the You Tube source, “The “great” Purpose Driven Movement has held many people captive to a philosophy that creeds are relative. Many hold that what mainly matters is what people are doing rather than what they believe. Does this theory hold, though? If it does, then, someone could hold, that the good deeds of a Muslim or a Roman Catholic could get them to heaven the same as someone who believes in the shed blood of Jesus Christ. This is erroneous. A person can believe this, but they can’t believe in this and Jesus Christ as revealed in Scripture.
Also, consider this:

In the original sources’s words,

(You couldn’t preach this in a “seeker-sensitive church” and it still be considered “seeker-sensitive”. I don’t think this is the same “vision” Osteen is talking about him wanting people to have…)

And be not conformed to this world: but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
(Rom 12:2)

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.
(Heb 13:8)

The Bible never says that the pragmatist/empiricist attitude/philosophy is correct. In fact, the Bible actually teaches against it.

In conclusion,

The above ones were on Todd Friel and WOTM talking about the silly gimmicks used in “evangelism”…specifically,  one involving a “Price is Right Episode” that is masquerading as a church.

Prayerfully, some of these videos will bless someone out there who is currently looking for information……
