EMISSARY^7 (G²)

COMMISIONED by CHRIST 4 SHARING HIS LIFE/KEEPING IT REAL ADMIST THE LIES (II Cor. 5:17-21))

Posted by Gabriel (G²) on January 14, 2008

This video is an open rebuke on the “seeker-sensitive”, Purpose Driven movement. It shows why not declaring the truth and standing up for it is not only dishonoring to God, but cowardly as well.

Going along with that,

The above one deals specifically on the issue of what TRUE EVANGELISM should look like……

Also,

In the original sources’s words,

(You couldn’t preach this in a “seeker-sensitive church” and it still be considered “seeker-sensitive”. I don’t think this is the same “vision” Osteen is talking about him wanting people to have…)

And be not conformed to this world: but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
(Rom 12:2)

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.
(Heb 13:8)

The Bible never says that the pragmatist/empiricist attitude/philosophy is correct. In fact, the Bible actually teaches against it.

In conclusion,

The above ones were on Todd Friel and WOTM talking about the silly gimmicks used in “evangelism”…specifically,  one involving a “Price is Right Episode” that is masquerading as a church.

Prayerfully, some of these videos will bless someone out there who is currently looking for information……
